אג'אהן מודִיטוֹ נולד בברזיל בשנת 1977 ובעשרים השנים האחרונות חי כנזיר במסורת אג'אהן צ’ה. בשנים האחרונות הוא ראש מנזר המסורת בברזיל, מנזר היער סודהאווארי (Suddhavāri).

אג׳אהן ואג׳ירו הוא מהנזירים המערביים הוותיקים במסורת היער, כאשר הוא לקח את ההסמכה המלאה תחת אג׳אהן צ׳ה בשנת 1980. הוא חזר לאנגליה בשנת 1984, והיה גורם מרכזי מאוד שעזר לאג׳אהן סומדהו ואג׳אהן אמארו להקים את מנזר אמארוואטי (Amaravati) בקרבת לונדון. מזה תקופה שהוא חי בפורטוגל, שם הוא הוביל את הקמת מנזר סומדהאראמה (Sumedhārāma) ועומד בראשו.
